Music Studio

All private lessons are offered in 30 minute, 45 minute, and 60 minute intervals. Your lesson's time length is your choice. However, it is recommended that beginners start with a 30 minute slot. Tuition is paid dependent on the time length of your lesson.

Teachers write the assignment for each week in the student's Assignment Notebook, and students are expected to spend time practicing between lessons.

Voice

Whether you’re an in-shower soprano, an amazing alto, titillating tenor, or basement baritone, OnStage is the place for you to develop your skills. At OPAC we teach many different styles and genres of music to singers of all ages and levels! Music should be fun. We take a bit of learning, sprinkle in some technique, stir in some songs, and add a bit of fun on top to make a great singing experience.

At OPAC vocalists are taught vocal techniques like posture, correct breathing, and vocal placement. We take the technique you learn and add it to songs in many different genres. You’ll definitely leave sounding better!

 

Piano

Learning the piano is a fun outlet for people from many walks of life! Whether a beginner or more advanced, the team at OPAC can help you to achieve your musical goals, increase your musical understanding, and experience the joy that music brings.

OPAC primarily uses the Faber Piano Adventures series for teaching lessons. Books are also supplemented with standard, level-appropriate piano literature. OPAC’s method of teaching introduces music reading, technique, literature, sight reading, and theory to each student.
